The story of Qbus and TRL began 15 years ago when Leszek Dobosz, now the owner of TRL, implemented a Qbus system in a hotel in Poznań, Poland, for his then-employer. "I was impressed by the ease of integration and the flexibility of Qbus," says Leszek. When he decided to start his own integration company, Qbus was the logical choice.
With his technical expertise and local knowledge, TRL delivers impressive projects, leveraging the full range of Qbus technologies. From HVAC control to comprehensive BMS systems, TRL integrates Qbus solutions to provide smart, efficient results.
Villa in Poznań – Qbus and KNX Integration
This stately old villa needed a complete renovation to meet modern standards of comfort and energy efficiency. After a demonstration in TRL's showroom, the owner chose a Qbus system with JUNG switches. These switches integrate Qbus intelligence, including a built-in temperature sensor, enabling efficient zone-based heating and cooling control.
The owner also wanted to use JUNG KNX control panels. Through the Ubie gateway, these KNX panels were connected to Qbus, allowing temperature settings to be adjusted via the panels. This openness of the Qbus system benefits both the installer and the end user.
Qbus also manages DALI lighting control and even the swimming pool in this project.
Hotel-restaurant Zagroda
In this agritourism project featuring a hotel and restaurant, Qbus controls lighting, heating, cooling, and hot water management. The main challenge was coordinating multiple heat pumps to efficiently manage the site's energy needs.
Using Modbus, Mitsubishi equipment was integrated with Qbus, enabling the manager to control all systems through a single app. A Qbus sensor detecting air quality, movement, and light levels manages both lighting and humidity in the piano room.
The next step involves integrating solar energy management via the Luqas module. The result is a brand-new building where comfort and energy efficiency go hand in hand.
A dedicated showroom in Poland
Beyond these impressive projects, Qbus has opened a showroom in Poland. Visitors can explore how Qbus solutions work, from smart lighting systems to complete building automation.
